About the project
Howdy!
I'm Eric, an indie solo-dev working on a PC simulation game about snow plow operations called "Snow Plow".
My goal is to create a state-of-the-art game for PC where you drive realistically modeled and simulated trucks in a magnificient winter wonderland. This is a long-term production. It is early in the production stage and is expected to remain in development after its release, with updates and new content added. I'm running this show mostly by myself, but I do have some collaborators for certain aspects of the game, and I also outsource a jobs when required.
Project status
At this time, the game is not out yet. However, I am showing the world the bare bones of the game since winter 2022 in the form of a free tech demo under Steam's Playtest program. Many people have been enjoying this little bit while I'm developing the main game based on the playtest's results and players feedback. You can register to the playtest if not already, and you can also get engaged via our Discord server. We are also present on other media platforms where we share news and sneak peeks.
The playtest will remain available and free during early development. When the game reaches a proper commercial potential, the playtest will be terminated and it will be made for sale on Steam. But rest assured, the price will remain reasonable and there won't be any in-game purchase or DLC. My goal is for everyone to enjoy a great game.
